The latest issue of the West End World Newsletter has been printed and is currently being delivered to all West End businesses. In it you can find articles related to grants offered by the BIZ, a summary of the AGM, updates on other BIZ programs and new initiatives, as well as a listing of recent businesses that have opened shop in the area.

Note that some positions have age restrictions due to funding requirements and others require a valid driver's license.

The 2010 West End BIZ Board of Management was elected at last year's annual general meeting. New members George Ingram (Ingram Consulting) and Gord Partridge (Spectrum Health Centre) joined the team.

Making up the current Board of Management are members Stacey Erlendson, Scott Gair, George Ingram, Melanie Matheson, Brent McNaught, Gord Partridge, Joe Putaro, Gary Stevenson, Shane Storie, John Unger and Rennie Zegalski. Councillor Harvey Smith sits on the board as the City of Winnipeg appointee and Martin Pasieczka serves as the City BIZ Liaison Officer.

Making up the Board Executive are:

Melanie Matheson as Vice-Chair
Rennie Zegalski as Treasurer
Brent McNaught as Secretary

The board meets on a monthly basis and is eager to begin discussing and implementing BIZ programming initiatives to benefit the West End business community.
