- Decklist Required (see below)
Players must fill out and submit an accurate and complete Pokémon TCG Decklist Form. Deck Lists must be emailed to info@amusengames.ca with the subject line: April Pokémon TCG Challenge Deck List before the start of the event. We will be checking Deck Lists versus the physical deck you are using in the event so please be accurate in your list, and don’t make any last minute changes after submitting your list.
Players who have not submitted a decklist by the start of the player meeting will be marked as late for the purpose of tiebreakers.
Deck List Requirements:
- All cards in your deck must be official Pokémon TCG cards in English or French
- Each Pokémon card in your deck must have Regulation Mark G, H or I
- Basic Energy cards can be from any set, excluding Fairy Type Energy
- Trainer cards and Special Energy cards must have been printed with Regulation Mark G, H or I but older versions may be used
- If you are using an older version of a card and the card text has changed,
- you must have a current copy of the card available for your opponent to see the most recent, correct wording
- all copies of the card will function as if they have the most recent and correct wording on them
Prizing:
- Each player will receive 3 Play! Pokémon Prize Pack Series 6.
- Players will receive Pokémon TCG Championship Points based on their final standing, and the number of players in their division
- Additional prizing may be added depending on attendance, and availability.
- At the end of Swiss rounds, players will receive extra Prize Pack Series 5 based on their final record:
- X-0-0 3 Prize Pack Series 6
- X-0-1 2 Prize Pack Series 6
- X-1-0 1 Prize Pack Series 6
- Players in single elimination top cut rounds will receive 1 additional Prize Pack Series 6 per win in those rounds.
- Additional prizing may be added based on attendance and availability.
Players will be split into age divisions for gameplay (Junior for players born in 2013 or later; Senior for players born in 2009-2012 inclusive; Master for players born in 2008 or earlier). However, if there are not enough people in a division, players will be paired against opponents in other divisions to make sure everyone gets to play.
All players will require a Play! Pokémon Player ID to participate in the event. If you have attended a Tuesday League event here, you will have been given a Player ID. Please make sure you have registered this ID with a Pokémon Trainer Account (using the instructions and PIN on the Player ID sheet provided). If you do not have one, please arrive at least 30min early to the event so we can help you create one. You can also create a Pokémon Trainer Account & Player ID at https://club.pokemon.com/us/pokemon-trainer-club/sign-up/ beforehand and bring the Player ID number with you.
