Please join us as we present to the public, for the first time, this Manitoba-created movie musical that has been a YouTube sensation, with 78,000+ views!) WIth music, lyrics & screenplay by Sara Kreindler, directed by Ann Hodges, and a cast of all your favourite Winnipeg actors, you will be overwhelmed by the depth of local talent up on our big screen.
The show will be preceded with an introduction by Dr. Kreindler, and will be followed by a panel discussion with Dr. Kreindler, Ms. Hodges, actress Colleen Furlan, and Emergency physician Alecs Chochinov.
About the show:
This satirical romp through the healthcare bureaucracy follows an idealistic young policy analyst who dreams of achieving change from within – only to be foiled at every turn.
On his quest to find a cure for ER crowding, Larry encounters poorly designed structures, misconceived improvement projects, managerial stonewalling, political posturing, and the ghost of Tommy Douglas. Can Larry save the system?
